Biography
대한민국의 경기대학교 BFA를 졸업하고, 미국 뉴욕의 시립대학교 헌터 컬리지 City University of New York, Hunter College MFA를 졸업하였다. 뉴욕을 기반으로 캘리포니아, 커네티컷, 플로리다, 캐나다, 한국등 국제적으로 작품 활동을 하고있으며, 마이애미 아트 바젤과 뉴욕 볼타 아트페어, 뉴욕 아모리쇼 등의 국제적인 아트페에 참여하였다.
2010년, 뉴욕 첼시에 위치한 Gallery Viridian Artist가 주최하고 2012년 휘트니 비엔날레의 큐레이터였던 Elisabeth Sussman 이 심사한 International Juried Exhibition에서 1st Prize -대상을 수상하였고, 2011년에는 NY Art Marathon 에서 10 파이널 리스트에 오르기도 하였다.
뉴욕의 Agora Gallery와 COMPANY Limited Edition Prints, 그리고 플로리다의 Artists Haven Gallery에 소속된 작가로 활동하며 미국에서 총 2번의 개인전과 30번 이상 그룹전에 참여했다. 현재는 서울 서초동에 위치한 Beslow Artist Residency에 입주작가로 활동하고 있으며, 2008년에는 뉴욕의 School of Visual Arts(SVA)의 입주작가, 2011년에는 뉴욕의 Inrivers입주작가, 2012년에는 서울의 Beslow입주작가로 활동하였다.
